Pianist Hyelim Kim is a prizewinner of the Clara Haskil Competition in Vevey, Hastings International Piano Competition, Arcangelo Speranza International Piano Competition in Taranto, Les etoiles du Piano in Roubaix and Annarosa Taddei International Competition in Rome


Since Hyelim made her orchestral debut at the age of 10 with the Romania-Bacau Orchestra, she has worked with numerous orchestras including the Royal Pilharmonic Orchestra, Southbank Sinfonia, Zermatt Festival Orchestra, Orchestre de Picardi, Kölner Orchestergesellschaft, Orchestre Philharmonique du Maroc, Chuncheon Youth Symphony Orchestra and Gürzenich Orchester Köln.


Hyelim has performed in Korea, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland and throughout Germany in prestigious venues including the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, Tonhalle Düsseldorf, Stadthalle Wuppertal, Kölner Philharmonie, Tauberphilharmonie, Flagey Brussels and TivoliVredenburg Utrecht. She successfully gave her debut recital at the Festival Piano Folies du Touquet, Festival Saint Riquier, Cité de la musique Soissons and Musica Nigella Festival.


Borin in South Korea, Hyelim began playing the piano at the age of 5. After winning numerous competitions in her country, she went to Germany at the age of 17 to study with Prof. Georg Friedrich Schenck. She completed her Bachelor's degree at the Robert Schumann Hochschule Düsseldorf and her Master's degree at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz in Cologne, where she has continued her Konzertexamen with Prof. Claudio Martinez Mehner and Prof. Nina Tichman since 2023.


In 2023 Hyelim was a scholarship holder of the Clavarte Foundation in Bern.
